Feedes
Project Overview
Feedes is a cross-platform social media aggregator developed by Vlinde Transylvania SRL (part of Vlinde GmbH, Germany). The platform unifies content from YouTube, X (Twitter), Facebook, Instagram, and Reddit into a single, personalized feed — eliminating the need to switch between multiple apps and tabs.
My Contribution
As a freelance developer, I played a significant role in building and refining the platform's backend systems:
-
Data Integration Pipeline:
Designed and implemented the ingestion layer responsible for pulling content from all five social media platforms — including posts, images, short-form videos, and user comments. -
Cron Job Architecture:
Organized and optimized the scheduled task system to ensure reliable, periodic data synchronization across all connected platforms without overloading API rate limits. -
Media Import System:
Built the pipeline for importing and processing visual content — handling video files (smaller formats), images, and threaded comment structures from each platform's unique data format.
Key Platform Features
-
Unified Feed:
Users follow creators and topics across YouTube, X, Facebook, Instagram, and Reddit — all rendered in a single, chronological timeline. -
AI-Powered Summarization:
Built-in AI generates concise summaries of long-form content and aggregates comment sentiment, helping users consume information faster.
Tech Stack & Tools
- Backend: Laravel (PHP)
- Frontend: Vue.js
- AI-Assisted Development: Claude Opus 4.6 as coding copilot, accelerating feature development and problem-solving across the full stack.
This project showcases my ability to work within an existing product team, integrate complex third-party APIs at scale, and leverage modern AI tools in the development workflow.
