Software built around your business, not the other way around
I build simple web applications that replace the Excel files, paper and endless messages you use today to manage stock, offers, clients or employees. Everything in one place, available from anywhere — even from your phone.
- 0 € for my work in the first 3 months
- ~8 €/month server, on your name
- 8 years building business software
Many companies still run on Excel, paper and memory
In Romania, a lot of companies — especially small ones — still manage their stock, employees and offers in Excel files, notebooks or WhatsApp groups. It works… until it doesn't.
Stock lives in an Excel file
…and nobody is sure which version is the latest one.
Offers are made by hand
Copied from an old offer, with the risk of a wrong price or a forgotten product.
You can't check anything away from the office
The information sits on one computer, or in one person's head.
The same data is typed two or three times
Once in the offer, again in the invoice, again in the stock file.
Clients are tracked in notebooks and chats
It's easy to forget who you need to call back and what you promised.
Big software was too much
Expensive, complicated, and it does a hundred things — except the one you actually need.
What are ERP and CRM? (no technical jargon)
You'll hear these two terms a lot when people talk about business software. Here's what they actually mean:
Think of it as a smart notebook for your clients: every client, every call, every offer and every order, all in one place.
π‘ Example: in five seconds you see what you offered a client last month and when you promised to call them back.
Think of it as the central brain of the company: stock, orders, invoices, suppliers and employees, all connected to each other.
π‘ Example: when you sell a product, the stock goes down by itself, and you get a warning when it's time to order more.
Why I do things differently
For 7 years I worked as an employee, building ERP and CRM systems for companies: invoicing, warehouse and stock, offers, orders, client management and connections with accounting software. For almost a year now, I've been doing the same on my own, with my own software development business (PFA).
From the inside, I saw many of these projects die. Not because the code was bad, but because:
- βThey were too expensive for the companies that needed them.
- βThey were built to be “universal” — to fit as many clients as possible and keep development costs low — so they ended up complicated and hard to understand.
- βTrust was never really built between the client and the people making the software.
So I start from the other end: from you.
Before writing a single line of code, I want to understand how your company actually works: who does what, where time is lost and where money slips away. Then I build only what helps you — nothing more.
The app is shaped by your needs, not by a generic template.
Four simple steps
No complicated contracts, no surprises. Here's exactly what happens:
Free consultation Free
We talk, online or by phone. I listen: what takes up most of your time, where you lose money, what you use today. Then I tell you honestly if I can help — and if I can't, I'll tell you that too.
Server and domain, on your name
We set up a virtual server (on DigitalOcean, about 8 € per month) and a web address for your app (a domain, for example from Namecheap — the price depends on the name, usually 10–20 € per year). Both are registered on your name and you keep all the passwords. I only help you with the setup.
The first version, in 3 months 0 € for my work
I build the first version around your most important problems. You see the progress along the way and test it with your team, so the app grows the way you actually work.
You pay only if it helps you
After the first 3 months, if the app saves you money or time, I ask for a small part of what it saves: around 5–10% per month. If it doesn't help you, you don't owe me anything.
What does it cost?
Transparent, from day one:
- Consultation and analysis of your needs
- The first version of your app
- Help with setting up the server and the domain
- You only pay the server (~8 €/month) and the domain, directly to the provider
- Only if the app really saves you money or time
- We agree together on how we measure it (hours saved, fewer mistakes, orders no longer lost)
- Support and improvements while we work together
- No savings = 0 €
Sounds too good to be true? Here's why I do it.
There's no hidden catch, just a clear reason. I'm at the beginning of building my own business (for almost a year I've had my own software development business, a PFA), and my long-term dream is a company that makes affordable software for small and medium businesses.
Right now, what I need most is to understand the real problems of real companies and to earn the trust of my first clients. I know the money will come later: if the app really helps you, it makes sense for both of us to keep working together. That's my bet.
And if it doesn't help you, you've only spent the cost of the server and the domain — and they stay yours.
What I can build for you
These are just examples — your app will contain only what you actually need:
Stock management
Entries and exits, multiple warehouses, alerts when a product is running low.
Offers and quotes
Professional PDF offers in a few clicks, with your prices and your logo.
Client management (CRM)
The full history of every client, plus reminders for follow-ups.
Documents
Contracts, delivery notes and reports, generated automatically from your data.
Employees
Days off, timesheets, tasks and who is responsible for what.
Orders
The status of every order, from the first request to delivery.
Reports
Sales, stock and activity at a glance, without building tables by hand.
Connections
With software you already use, like your accounting program (I've done this before with CIEL).
Your app, your data, your choice
Everything on your name
The server, the domain and all the passwords belong to you. Your data stays on your server, not on mine.
Works on any device
Computer, tablet or phone — it runs in the browser, there's nothing to install.
You're never locked in
If one day you want to continue with another developer, you can. The app is built with popular technologies that many programmers know.
Laravel and Vue.js, in their latest versions, are among the most widely used technologies for web applications — stable, well documented and known by thousands of developers.
Who's behind it
I'm David, a PHP & Laravel web developer with 8 years of experience: 7 as an employee and almost 1 on my own, with my software development business (PFA). Over the years I've built and maintained ERP systems for real companies — for example an in-house ERP for a medical equipment distributor, and a commercial ERP with accounting, invoicing and procurement modules.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need to know anything technical?
No. You explain how your company works, in your own words. The technical part is my job.
What happens after the first 3 months?
We look together at what the app has changed. If it helps you, we continue with the monthly percentage and I keep improving it. If not, we stop — no hard feelings, and the server and the domain stay yours.
How exactly is the 5–10% calculated?
We agree on it at the start, based on simple things we can measure: hours no longer spent on manual work, mistakes avoided, orders no longer lost. Everything is written down clearly, with no fine print.
Can I use the app from my phone?
Yes. It's a web application: it works in the browser on your phone, tablet or computer, from anywhere you have internet.
What if I want to work with another developer later?
You can. The app runs on your own server, under your name, and it's built with Laravel and Vue.js — technologies that many developers know.
Is my data safe?
Your data stays on your own server, not on mine, and access is protected by user accounts and passwords that you control.
My company is very small. Is this for me?
Yes — those are exactly the companies I want to help. A small app that saves you a few hours every week can make a big difference for a small team.
